Resources 2015

At the bottom of this page you will find downloadable resources to help you publicise the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Eco Open Homes Event. We can post hard copies of many of these resources to homes which are taking part in the group and community groups who would like to help publicise it. Contact: caroline.harmon@mea.org.uk / 07748 508704.

For 2015 we have:

  • Some short videos packed full of information and top tips to help you make a success of opening your home.
  • A generic poster and a poster which includes space for you to add more localised information. You can either type this information directly onto the document or print it out and add it by hand. Hard copies available.
  • Two template press releases: one for community groups and one for individual householders who are opening their homes. If you would like help with personalising the release or advice on talking to your local media please contact: caroline.harmon@mea.org.uk / 07758 508704.
  • Two template articles: one for community groups and one for individual householders who are opening thier homes. You could include these in local printed newsletters and on local websites. If you would like help with personalising the articles please contact: caroline.harmon@mea.org.uk / 07758 508704.
  • A simple window poster to put in the window of your home. Hard copies available.

For people who are opening their home:

  • Postcard-style invites to deliver to your neighbours. Hard copies available.
  • Resources are also available on the Green Open Homes website.
  • Factsheets on measures you may have installed or behaviours you might had adopted can be downloaded here and here and handed out at your event. If you are opening your home and would like us to print and post to you multiple copies of the factsheets most relevant to you please get in touch.
