Sutton Bonington Residents Set to Save More Than 70,000Kg of Carbon

The Fantastic Home visited Sutton Bonington Show on Sunday 5th September and gav
eaway energy saving devices which will help residents save more than 70,000Kg of carbon dioxide emissions over their lifetime's use.

These included light bulbs, shower savers, shower timers, savaflushes and television PowerDowns. People were also keen to get information and advice on different aspects of energy efficiency, mainly: alternative low energy lighting, feed-in-tariffs and the possibility of installing solar voltaic panels, which linked in nicely with a local project to support PV installation in Rushcliffe. The was also some interest in biomass systems and the possible Renewable Heat
