Fantastic Home Visits Swadlincote

The Fantastic Home exhbition was on the road again this week visiting Swadlincote town centre in South Derbyshire.

 

Most people we spoke to had already undertaken loft and cavity wall insulation but we still had five people interested in having it installed before Christmas.

 

With energy prices going up, we were able to assist people with switching enquiries and some interest in renewable technologies, in particular solar PV. This included a local electrician who is considering setting up as an installer.

 

A considerable number of people who visited the stall had solid walls, quite often single brick walls. They reported significant heating issues. We were able to give them WarmStreets’ info on external insulation as well as point them to the future potential of Green Deal assisting them next year.
