Transition Buxton are delighted to announce the following activities coming up to support sustainable living:

  • Repair Café
    4th Saturday of the month
    Buxton Methodist Church, Market Place

    Bring your broken items to see if you can extend their life. No clothing or soft furnishings due to Covid. Please consider donating what you think is fair and can afford to help cover their costs. Upcoming repair cafes: Saturday 28th August Saturday 25th September, from 10 - 2pm.

  • Carbon Choices
    Mini-Seminar

    Neil Kitching, a geographer and energy specialist from Scotland, will present on his ten 'building blocks' - the steps society needs to take to enable businesses and individuals to tackle climate change. There will be opportunity for questions and discussion.
