Training for Householders

Eco Open Homes Week Training and Sharing Event

This event is for householders who are opening, or thinking about opening, their home as part of the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Eco Homes Open Week in May 2014. 

• Workshops on: How to Open your Home: a Beginner’s Guide; What Makes a Good Guided Tour;  Getting People Through the Door (how to publicise your event)
• Q&A panel. Panelists include: Kate Watson of Bristol Green Doors, Tina Holt of Transition West Bridgford and Alastair Miekle of Transition Chesterfield. These groups have run several successful open homes events
• Share your experiences of opening your home with others
• Meet other householders from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Loughborough who are planning to open their homes in May
• Short tour of the venue, plus two homes in Chesterfield which opened as part of our event last year
• Refreshments and light lunch provided
